The School was founded in 1987 with the donation from Dr. Tin Ka Ping and Yan Oi Tong Limited acting as the School's sponsoring body. There are approximately 650 students, with 4 classes in each form from S1 to S6. Under the leadership of the Principal, the teaching team comprises teachers who possess professional qualifications of university graduates or above. The ratio of teachers with postgraduate qualifications is one of the highest among all secondary schools in Hong Kong. Currently, over 60% of our teaching staff are holders of Master / Doctoral Degrees.
Full attention is paid to building a safe school environment and the optimal use of resources. The school campus and facilities are maintained and constantly upgraded to provide an effective learning environment. All classrooms are air-conditioned with internet access, multimedia equipment, and wireless network and mobile learning devices. There are also a hall, design and technology room cum innovation centre, gym room, Chinese culture room, life development room, multi-purpose room for student development (seedling room), computer room, social worker rooms, medical room, student activity room, life planning room, library, subject-specific rooms and science laboratories.
