Objectives

1 To cultivate in students a virtuous character and develop their personal conduct and moral concepts.
2 To help students establish a correct self-concept, and cultivate in them a sense of self-care and autonomy.
3 To encourage the students to learn about their community, society, country and even the world they live in; to foster their sense of serving their own society and country and develop a sense of belonging.
4 To cultivate the students’ courage to pursue the truth, their ability to think rationally and introspect critically.
5 To sow the seeds of the concept of democracy in the minds of the students.


Policies

1 The School Ethos advocates unadorned lifestyles and strict discipline, instilling in students a sense of self-awareness and gradually shaping their personal virtues.
2 To install an equitable punishment and reward system, whereby students learn to appreciate the meaning and importance of such institution.  The School’s reward and punishment system will be subject to regular reviews by the School management and the students.
3 To help students understand the spirit of rule of law, they are required to demonstrate self-awareness, self-discipline and self-control both in and outside of the classroom.
4 To help students improve their self-awareness through both formal and informal curricula, whereby self-confidence can be enhanced and personal weaknesses overcome.
5 To encourage students to build fruitful interpersonal relationships through caring for and learning from their peers.
6 To nurture student leaders and promote their self-governance through a variety of extra-curricular activities and student organizations.
7 To impart to students concepts of family and friends, to encourage them to get to know their communities and care about the developments of our mother country and the world at large. 
8 To encourage students to care for the environment, and serve the society.
9 To help students develop a healthy lifestyle.
